Composite Noise Barrier is a new-type combined sound insulation and absorption system, perfectly integrating metal sound-absorbing panels and transparent sound-insulating panels. Different from single-type noise barriers, this composite structure takes advantage of high sound absorption performance of metal panels and high light transmittance of transparent panels. It achieves efficient noise reduction while ensuring road lighting, landscape aesthetics and visual permeability. With stable structure, strong weather resistance and flexible collocation, it is the most widely used noise barrier type for urban traffic and municipal engineering projects.

Product Structure & Composition

The full set of composite sound barrier consists of hot-dip galvanized H-beam posts, lower metal sound absorption panels, upper transparent insulation panels, and complete supporting accessories (rubber gaskets, waterproof strips, anchor bolts, fixing brackets).

Lower Part: Metal Sound Absorbing Panel

Adopts galvanized steel or aluminum alloy perforated plate as the outer layer, filled with high-density waterproof fireproof glass wool or polyester sound-absorbing fiber, with solid back plate. It features high sound absorption coefficient, effectively absorbing medium and low-frequency traffic noise, and greatly reducing noise reflection and diffusion.

Upper Part: Transparent Sound Insulation Panel

Made of high-strength PC polycarbonate sheet, PMMA acrylic sheet or laminated safety glass. It has high light transmittance, excellent sound insulation effect, impact resistance, anti-aging and anti-ultraviolet performance. It does not block daylight and road sightlines, avoiding the dark tunnel effect of fully enclosed metal barriers.

Supporting System

H-shaped steel posts with hot-dip galvanized or powder-coated surface, with strong bearing capacity and wind resistance. All connecting accessories are anti-corrosion treated to ensure long-term stable operation of the whole barrier system.
